Terms of Service.

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to any person or organisation that accesses or uses the Hooklyne service, including the portal, prospect research output, and any associated features. By creating an account or making a payment, you agree to these terms.

2. Subscriptions and billing

Hooklyne is offered on a monthly or annual subscription basis. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Hooklyne does not store payment card details.

3. Credits

Each subscription plan includes a credit allowance. Credits are used when you request prospect packages, contact lookups, meeting-prep briefs, or other credit-consuming actions. Annual subscribers receive their full annual allowance upfront, valid until the renewal date. Monthly subscribers receive a fresh allowance each billing cycle; unused monthly-plan credits do not carry forward. Top-up credits, purchased separately at €0.85 per credit, remain valid as long as your subscription is active. Credits have no cash value and are not refundable.

Credits are consumed at the point you commit to a contact, not when a candidate pool is shown. The portal deliberately hides candidate names and LinkedIn URLs in the evaluation step until you select a candidate; this anonymized preview is part of the product design and is not a refund trigger.

3a. Compose and regeneration limits

Each generated lead can be regenerated up to 3 times through the in-product compose action. The cap is enforced by our engine. If you need to regenerate beyond the cap, contact support.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access and credits until then. Monthly subscriptions are not refunded for partial periods. Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a pro-rated refund within 14 days of purchase if no credits have been used. 4a. Team seats and roles

Each plan includes a fixed number of seats. Within a workspace, members have one of two roles: Manager or Member. Only Managers can invite new members, change another member's role, or remove a member. A Manager cannot demote the last remaining Manager, and no one can remove their own account from a workspace; either action must be performed by another Manager.

When a workspace has set an allowed email domain, invitations to addresses outside that domain are refused. Removed members lose access immediately; their historical contributions (prospects, briefs, audit records) remain in the workspace.

5. Acceptable use

You may use Hooklyne only for lawful B2B sales and marketing purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute data or output generated by the service. You are responsible for ensuring your outreach complies with applicable law, including GDPR and the Dutch Telecommunications Act. Accounts found to be used for spam, scraping, or other abusive purposes will be suspended without refund.

6. Accuracy of information

We take care to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we make no guarantees about its completeness or accuracy. Pricing, features, and availability may change without notice. The most current information is always available by contacting us directly.

7. Prospect data accuracy

Contact data provided through our service is sourced from third-party business data providers and publicly available sources. While we apply verification steps to improve accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all contact details are current or correct at the time of use. Individual results will vary depending on industry, target market, ICP quality, and how outreach is executed. We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as reply rates, meetings booked, or revenue generated.

7a. Admin review and escalations

When our engine cannot confidently match a contact to your target company, the lead is escalated to admin review. An admin may approve the engine's suggested candidate, select a different candidate from the pool that was considered, or mark the lead as unresolvable. You are notified of the outcome by email (the "escalation updates" notification, on by default and switchable in Settings).

8. No legal or compliance advice

Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice. Customers are responsible for ensuring their use of Hooklyne, including the outreach they send, complies with applicable laws. We recommend consulting a legal adviser if you are unsure about your obligations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Hooklyne is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of this website or our service, including loss resulting from reliance on inaccurate prospect data, failed outreach, or service interruptions. Our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amount you paid for the service in that period.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.
